Beowulf has been an agent of Saint George Group for just over a year when he completes his probationary period and his private hero's license is finally restored in full. He doesn't have time to celebrate though, because the Pacific Coast Terror is about to strike again, and it becomes Beowulf's job to find the monster first, before another young girl disappears.

I loathe use of the & (the ampersand), ever since my TSR days, but for some reason book designers and publishers love subbing out the perfect word “and” with one of those grotesqueries. DC Comics did it to me again with my novel Peter and Max, changing it to Peter & Max. They do this without checking with the author, one of the many ways in which they must piss all over stories they’re incapable of creating themselves, perhaps because they’re evil, or perhaps just congenitally inconsiderate. Okay, sorry. Rant over. Please consider buying the book.”
