Once long ago Bill teamed with three other writers (who’ve each since become writers of note) to cooperate in an online prose shared universe called Clockwork Storybook. During this time Bill wrote a story called Mythology, in which a middleman negotiates a tricky deal between the monster Fenris Wolf and the Norse pantheon of gods. This was the first of three illustrations Bill penciled and inked to accompany that story. The page it is on includes a few pencil doodles in which Bill was clearly trying to work out some of the hands. On 11" x 17" bristol board.
